Getting help
Placing your trust in somebody to help you address your personal problems can feel like a very big step.
Finding the right person to help you is key to helping you to make progress.
On this page we’ll take a look at the things you need to look for in a Cognitive Hypnotherapist.
I’ll also take this chance to help you to get to know me a bit better, and get a feel for whether I’m the right person to help you.
Choosing the right practitioner for help
When you are choosing a Cognitive Hypnotherapy practitioner, you will want to make sure they meet the following criteria:
- They need to be a fully qualified Cognitive Hypnotherapist (HPD, DipCHyp)
- They should be a member of the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) or The National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH)
- They should be committed to abiding by the CNHC's or NCH's strict code of conduct, performance, ethics and public protection policies (including client confidentiality)
- They should be fully insured to carry out the treatment
